Omaha Serves is an amazing organization in the Omaha area that that assists in volunteer coordination with other non-profits in the city. The website was developed in WordPress and I also designed the logo.
It is good news that this many non-profits are on Facebook, but it honestly means little or nothing if they are using it effectively or dedicating the time and money to make it flourish…
So I posted this quote about a week and half ago, just tonight there are 4 or 5 reblogs and likes on it. This is just one of the reasons why Tumblr rocks so hard. A week and a half ago is lightyears in Twitter time, yet on Tumblr, good content or a good quote can stay around for weeks or even months after it was originally posted.
I also get so many more reblogs than retweets and have a tenth of the following on Tumblr. Everyone should Tumblr!
